Reviews
Was there for company event. The atmosphere there was fantastic, the inside decoration of the building is old fashion and beautiful. The staff was nice helpful and friendly, and the ladies are wearing traditional Austrian dresses, that looks interesting. The food was not that great but it was ok, and they have fried vegetables, different kinds of salads if you are a vegetarian or don’t want to eat meats, but they also have lots of options for meat eaters as well.
They also prepared for us some traditional austrian desserts and they also quite good I would say.
The location is reachable by public transport, you also can find place for your car if you driving to there.
Haven’t see any play zone for kids, maybe I missed it. But they have grape yards in the back, that would be a nice place for parents who had kids with them, and day time would be better for this.
Don’t really think there is also wheelchair friendly
Such a beautiful afternoon, and evening we spent at this Vineyard. We had a great meal.
The vineyard was stunningly beautiful, although the food offered was rather basic in comparison.
This is the best Heuriger for all the people who loves wine and good food.
You can try the different wine that the family produce together with the great tipical austrian food.
There is also Vegetarian choices and seasonal food. In November, for example, you will be able to eat duck cooked in the traditional austrian way.
At the end of the dinner then, you can walk through the vineyard on the back of the restaurant. I highly suggest it!
This is one of the classic Heurigen in the neighborhood of Neustift am Walde in Vienna, Austria. Hard to believe that these vineyards are still within the city limits. and the courtyard has tables on multiple terraces that back directly to the Vineyards !
The food off the menu is quite good, especially the Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu. But inside at the counter you can also purchase meat, cheese, salads, breads and desserts by weight/unit. Lets you choose with your eyes ! This weekend was the Vienna Wine Hiking Days (Wien Weinwandertage) and one of the mapped routes started at the Fuhrgassl Huber restaurant.
Beautiful heurige, where’s possibility to eat also outside. Lots of places inside, mostly tables with benches. Food was good but nothing special. Service was a bit “cold “. Excellent wines also possibility to buy with.
Loved it! Service was very good, and the schnitzel was to die for! They had musicians and the best sturm we had during our stay in Vienna!
A cosy and friendly cellar restaurant providing local vintage and fresh made foods. Visiting here for sturm season and have a nice walk in neady vineyard is recommended.
